Our step list:
-Lian pushes the weight beneath the vision sensor
-That activates the trandmill.
-The trandmill moves a ball that fall down the slide,
-The ball pushes scissors that have magnets on them. The magnets come closer and they are being closed.
-The sound of all of this (we planned to do it in a different way) activates the sound sensor that we have on our robot.
-The robot pushes a marker along with a car that slides down the ramp.
-The car hits a rock
-That releases a wire which makes the boxing glove fly towards the boxing bag.
-The boxing bag gets pushed and hits a book.
-The books start to fall one by one and the last book hits a ball which
- hits a car
-that moves onto the scales.
-The smaller and ligther car in the other side of the scales goes up. It has a spike attached to it.
-The car moves towards the balloon, hits it,
-The balloon pops and the cereals fall to the bowl.
There were a lot of hight, kinetic, heat and magnetic energies and energy transmissions.
We emphasized world trends such as linking healthy lifestyle and sports to physics!
Why think we should win?
We had special and original ideas, thought out of the box and overcame difficulties and there were a lot! We did it together, enjoying every step of the way. The final product was different from what we’ve planned but we are proud of what it is cause it is ours!
