Our step list:

Our machine shows a normal morning in my house. It begins with
1. The alarm clock ringing,
2. The vibration moving a string with the pole attached
3. To hit a marble,
4. Sending it to hit a plank of wood with a blade at the end.
5. The blade swings down and
6. Explodes a balloon,
7. The pressure of the balloon sending a balloon across a string that
8. Hits a popsicle stick structure that
9. Swings and sends marbles down a sheet of wood with nails sticking out of it.
10. The marbles fall into a basket after setting off a chain reaction,
11. A marble hitting a straw that hits a marble into a downhill, hitting another straw that sends a marble down the slope and
12. Into a cup pulley, the lighter cup, that had a marble underneath, rises, causing the marble to roll
13. Down a plank of wood and
14. Hits a car that pulls the blanket off of a baby doll, and
15. Releases a magnet that swings down and
16. Hits a marble through a tunnel and into a funnel.
16. The marble falls into an elevator that on the way down,
17. Releases the marble down a slope and into a trigger,
18. That causes a motor to rotate Legos into a structure made of Kinects.
19. This structure spins and hits a screw that rolls in a half-circle shape to hit another screw, this reaction continues until
20. The last screw hits a marble that falls into a cup, pulling it down.
21. The falling cup makes a domino move because they were attached by string, this sends a marble into another cup.
22. This cup falls and releases a marble downhill into cardboard which pulls another piece of carboard,
23. Allowing a marble to hit a car into a pendulum structure made of a marble attached and held by string.
24. The marble spins around the metal pole and hits a milk carton domino,
25. The carton falls down and pulls a small barrier which
26 allows a car to start moving down a slope and at the end of the slope to hit a weight.
27 The weight falls down with a string attached to it
28 The string operates a robotic carton arm that releases an aluminum foil item that contains marble downhill.
29 The aluminum foil item falls into a cup.
30 The weight in the cup causes it to be pulled down which
31 tips the box of cornflakes, pouring down cornflakes and milk into a bowl - creating a bowl of cereal of cornflakes and milk.

 

Why think we should win?

Our machine is highly creative! We tried to put our efforts on creativity and imagination and not on routine and expected moves (no Domino at all!). All our passes were build from crude materials without any short cuts. And above all - a lot of happiness and joy were spent :)
